Last Tuesday, the ESN (Erasmus Student Network) here in Maastricht organized an American Frat Party. I have never attended such a party before, so I had no idea what to wear and how to dress. After checking Pinterest, which is my go-to page, where I found nothing useful except some Freshman-tips on how to behave on your 1st Frat party, I had to come up with something.
So, finally, I decided to go with something very American 😉 Yes, very stereotypical, but you get the hint. Do I need to apologize to the Americans?
So basically, I took some tape and glued a number “14” (it’s a special number to me) to a black Tshirt and drew some warpaint on my face. That’s how I roll, ok?
On my way home with my friend Alicia, we passed 2 guys standing in a building entrance and one of them yelled after us “I like your stripes, like a soldier!” At first, I had no idea what he was referring to since I forgot about my stripey face but then it clicked and I mumbled “thanks!” but I doubt he heard that.
